Jaye Hobart
Jaye Hobart is the Director of Development and returned to the Civic Federation in September 2019. In this role, Jaye partners with the President, key staff, and the Board of Directors on fundraising strategy and donor engagement. She also leads the two annual signature events, the Annual Civic Awards and the Motorola Solutions Foundation Excellence in Public Service Award. Jaye first worked at the organization from 2013-2015.
Prior to joining the Civic Federation, Jaye worked at Woods Fund Chicago managing a city-wide racial equity process. She also worked at the Center for New Community and the ACLU of New Mexico’s Regional Center for Border Rights.
She received her M.A. from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Luther College. Jaye is a 2021 Leadership in Democracy Fellow at the McCormick Foundation and a 2020 Fundraising for Good Leader at the Loyola University Chicago Baumhart Center. Jaye serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Chicago Chapter, the Governmental Research Association, and the HANA Center, and she serves as the board president for Korean Adoptees of Chicago.
